Project Overview
The rapid urban development that Riyadh has witnessed and is still experiencing is one of the most important factors that prompted the Riyadh Region Municipality to focus on improving and raising the level of performance in residential and non-residential plans throughout the city, to serve citizens and provide their comfort and well-being. Given the importance of technology in daily procedures related to the General Administration of Urban Planning—speeding up completion, raising performance, preserving data, and linking it spatially to the base map—this project proposes organizing the electronic procedures department in the Riyadh Region Municipality according to the latest international technology standards.
Project Objectives
Raising the level of service in the General Department of Urban Planning
Building a historical spatial reference under engineering supervision for each transaction
Building a system to follow up daily transactions and link them to all urban planning departments and sections
Compatibility or unification of the geographical reference of the Secretariat’s base map with the continuous monitoring network of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs
Developing electronic services
