WHAT IS VMS
VMS stands for Video Management System. It is a software component of a security camera system that collects video from cameras and other sources and records/stores that video to a storage device. VMS provides an interface to both view the live video, and access recorded video.

SERVER FAILOVER
Supports N+M failover. If the master server fails, the slave server will take over the recording service automatically. After the master server recovers, the recording data will be synchronized back.
BACKUP MANAGEMENT
Supports schedule backup and manual backup. You can back up the recording files to the external storage server or the local disk.
INTEGRATED SECURITY SOLUTIONS / ACTIVE TRACKING
Supports active tracking with PTZ cameras. When an event is triggered, the PTZ camera will track the object automatically.
BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS / ATTRIBUTE SEARCH
Supports behavior analysis such as intrusion detection, line crossing detection, loitering detection, etc. Supports attribute search for people and vehicles.
OBJECT SEARCH
Supports searching for objects by attributes such as color, type, etc. Quickly locate the target object in the video footage.
SMOKE DETECTION
Supports smoke detection. When smoke is detected, an alarm will be triggered immediately.
CROWD DENSITY / HEAT MAP DETECTION
Supports crowd density detection and heat map. Helps to analyze the traffic flow and crowd distribution.
DETECTION OF TALL OBJECTS
Detects objects that exceed a certain height. Useful for monitoring restricted areas or safety zones.
