The rapid urban development that Riyadh has witnessed and is still experiencing is one of the most important factors that prompted the Riyadh Region Municipality to focus and pay attention to improving and raising the level of performance in residential and non-residential plans throughout the city, in order to serve citizens and provide their comfort and well-being. Given the importance of the presence of technology in all daily procedures related to the General Administration of Urban Planning, which helps it in speeding up completion and raising the level of performance while saving data and easily referring to it when needed, and linking it spatially to the base map, all of this was one of the strongest goals in proposing this project to organize the electronic procedures department in the Riyadh Region Municipality according to the latest international standards in the use of technology.
